Please fill out this Recruiting Information Form and tell us a little more about yourself!

Michigan Rowing will be hosting several events for students who are interested in the sport of rowing. Students of all ages are welcome and must attend at least ONE of the following:

  • Open Boathouse Tours
  • Mass Meetings
  • Other Events

Open Boathouse Tours:

A chartered Michigan Bus will pick up students from their dorm buildings and drive to the boathouse, located ten minutes off campus. Students will be given a crash course on the sport of rowing and be able to meet our athletes and coaches, Russell Giacobbe and Gregg Hartsuff. There will be free pizza, snacks, and drinks, along with a chance to win Michigan Rowing gear!

Mass Meetings:

If you cannot make any of the Open Boathouse Tours, we invite you to attend one of our Mass Meetings. Our coaches and rowers will hold an informational meeting and answer any questions about joining the Michigan Rowing Team.

Other Events:

Michigan Rowing will also be at Festifall, Maize Craze, Union Escapade, and the Rec Sports Expo. Look for our athletes at any of the above events, we will be able to provide information for those who are interested. ALL are encouraged to attend these recruitment events. You do not need to have prior rowing experience to try out for our team. We look for individuals who, most importantly, show athleticism and athletic potential. Michigan Crew is one of the greatest collegiate club-varsity crews in the country, we ask you to seriously consider attending any of our recruiting events to find out more about the spectacular sport of rowing.
